Three buildings on Quay Street visible in the 1919 image have survived; in the detail from the 2025 picture below at left is the Colonial Sugar Company building (click here for a then-and-now treatment showing it). At centre is the Union Fish Company Buiding, and at right the Northern Steamship Company Building (a third storey was added in the 1920s) - there is a then-and-now treatment showing it here.
