Although the Town Hall building in 2025 looks little changed, structures have been added at either side of the base of the clock tower, and there are small differences in its decorative details. All the ball finials seem to been replaced with slightly larger versions over the years, and the balustrades seem also to have been altered, along with other elements. The statue of Sir George Grey was relocated to Albert Park in 1922.
